Sometimes the seemingly impossible happens to us mere runners. I had the race of my life today and ran a 2:52:58 at the 2007 edition of the Grand Rapids Marathon. Everything came together for the perfect race. Thanks to everyone for their support! Blog coming soon.

Announcing the safe and happy arrival of Noah Grannon Zeisler!! he was hatched into the world at 7:18 pm, 8 lb, 6 oz, and 20.5 inches. The winner of the baby pool was my dad (again!) See some early pics here. Thanks to everyone for their love and support!

We've returned! Livvy spent a long culturally induced weekend in NYC. I spent a week backpacking in the mountains with Roger. Probably our last getaways until the baby comes. Oh, and someone please buy our townhome...please!

The 2007 Zeisler Baby Pool is up and alive. Send me your predictions and I'll post them. The official Due Date is Sept 27 and we already know its a boy. Include: Date, time of birth, weight and length. Winner gets to either A) babysit the new bundle of joy or B) a $10 Starbucks gift card.

We've returned from Boston! What a fantastic weekend. I ran a 3:12:35 in the world's greatest marathon. I'm grateful to those who were so generous to us, whether it be meeting us for lunch or giving a shout out to say Good Luck! Look for a write up in The Blog in the next few days!

Kinda busy lately. Got some good racing in! On March 18, the March Madness Half Marathon (on a killer course) went well, and put me in good position for Boston in three weeks. Then yesterday I nailed a 68 second PR in the Shamrock Shuffle 8K. 'Course I'm in the hurt locker now. All bodes well for a tough winter of training.
